So last weekend was the annual Vogue Festival, down at Southbank.
I went down there alone but met up with some fashion lovers from a group on meetup.com.

I had an amazing time, I chose to watch the legendary Naomi Campbell and Franca Sozzani speak, interviewed by Alexandra Shulman.
Naomi spoke at length about her career as well as the charity work she is currently leading in Africa. She also spoke of her relationships with fellow models and photographers in the fashion industry; and briefly touched on her special relationship with 'Grandpa' Nelson Mandela.
Franca spoke on her career as editor of Italian Vogue and her day to day life including her blog, amongst other things. They both spoke on their love of Africa and the future of Africa as a fashion force to be reckoned with.

There were of course, plenty of other things going on, including all the activities down in the Harrods Live lounge. Including the Harrods Live Catwalk!

They had a no. of shows throughout the day, both days, which festivalgoers could take part in! I jumped at the chance and enjoyed every minute of it! The 2 with the most votes from Instagram, won a £1000 Harrods voucher!
There was the opportunity to shoot your own Vogue cover page with Chanel accessories for £10 which unfortunately, I didn't get the time to do!
In the main foyer, you could get your nails done, get a blow dry, write a message and post it up on a special wall or just browse through the merchandise pop up shop.
I had a great time all in all and recommend it to any fashion lover. I will definitely be going again next year!
